Although its named Zukitwo, this theme isn’t one of lassekongo’s creations but rather inspired by them. It is meant to be a darker version of Zukitwo with elegance touches here and there, like the volume bar and the top panel calendar appearence.
Zukitwo Dark uses light blue where is needed to highlight things, dynamically squares everything from boxes, panels, docks and all context boxes fixing Adwaita’s excessive roundness and uses the Droid Sans font so make sure its installed in your system.
For those of you who have been digging around to find nice theme alternatives Viva isn’t news. This cool looking dark theme has been available since GNOME Shell 3.6 and is always delivering minor improvements and fixes with every release.
Except for the orange version, Viva is also available as blue so both Ubuntu and Arch users will be happy :p
The required fonts are Raleway and OpenSans, and there is also a Screenshield and Login Screen that you can use if you copy the content of the “gnome-shell” folder in the zip to “/usr/share/gnome-shell/theme” which should always be the way to go if you want to avoid avoidable issues.
