We are going to contact them soon and get more information about the market share prospect of Gnome3! Aw, and don’t forget, by next Ubuntu (13.04), the Ubuntu Gnome derivative will be an official spin of Canonical, so I guess Zareason will also ship that!

Ultrabook that has an Ivy bridge processor + Gnome 3 = Epic win.

It’s just not fair- this is too awesome. Intel HD 4000 has some sick performance- just imagine how far you could push it with a lightweight OS like Linux.

Of course, the sides opening up do make it look a bit fatter than it is, but I’m sure you could get over it pretty quickly. That’s honestly a very competitive price.

I am not sure I’d consider 3.5lbs an Ultrabook. It looks quite chubby, to be honest. Also the display is clearly lacking. Since Asus and others are starting to ship Ultrabooks with 1920×1080 13.3″ screens a 14″ with 1366×768 feels quite low spec.

Still, I applaud the effort! It is clearly a step in the right direction.
