Transmageddon 0.23 released yesterday and this is the first release to use GTK3 and GStreamer 0.11/1.0.
The interface remains simple and easy to use and the abilities/features of the application remain the same. The application also received some Gnome Shell integration and now provides pop-up notifications when the transcoding is finished, and 3 entries on a Gmenu.
You can choose device specific presets to let the application choose automatically the appropriate output format.
Transmageddon allows you to convert from and to the following formats:
- Ogg
- Matroska
- AVI
- Mpeg-PS
- Mpeg-TS
- AVCHD/BD
- FLV
- Quicktime
- Mpeg4
- 3GPP
- MXF
- ASF
- WebM
You can also choose to basically export the audio from a video file and also rotate the video for 90 or 180 degrees, or flip it horizontally or vertically.
Note that in order to use the latest Transmageddon version, you will need to install the latest GStreamer 0.11. Source
