“The Future” is a new Gnome Shell theme creation from the artist Kotus that is obviously heavily inspired by malys’ Future GS theme. The Future is compatible with GS 3.6 and works great, despite the fact that it’s only on version 0.1.
This theme is not the result of a farrago of futuristic elements, but the unique creation that provides a fresh, modern and casual GS theme through the gingerly selected modest and beautiful elements.
Transparencies are found everywhere. The top panel, the tray, the overview screen and the dock are all transparent. Loved the diagonal stripes on the applications screen, the grey/orange calendar and the conversion of the classic switches to on/off “leds”. Really nice!
