Another Gnome Shell extension that adds a touch of naturalness and expands the convenience has been released for Gnome Shell 3.4 and 3.6 today!
The aim of the extension is to allow users to show desktop by clicking the empty space on the overview, thus eliminating the need for unwanted extra mouse movement.
After clicking on empty space, the windows are automatically minimized on the current workspace and this has the side effect of not showing them on the workspaces on the right so you may loose the ball completely if you’re using it, but it is great if you know what you’re doing.
To install this extension in your system, simply turn the switch to “ON”. It is compatible with both 3.4 and 3.6 versions of Gnome Shell.
Note: Keep in mind that this extension breaks the possibility to move through workspaces, by drag up/down the “free desktop space” in overview!
