Project Hamster is a time tracking tool that helps you keep track on how much time you have spent during the day on activities you choose to track. Activities may include things that you do in front of your computer like programming, or things that are not related with your desktop like watering the flowers.
A very helpful extension that will make the tracking of these activities easier has been released today, allowing users to do most of the things they did with the Hamster app.

As the creator of the extension suggests “The extension is not a full replacement for the applet just yet, but it’s getting there slowly.”
For the extension to work properly you will have to compile Hamster applet from source. If you have it already installed, you will have to uninstall it and then compile it from source.
To get the Hamster running on your system, simply turn the switch to “ON”
