A very useful extension that adds a messaging menu on the top panel was released today, aiming to do the Gnome Shell users life a little easier.
The extension includes all email and chat applications that are installed in your system and also supported by the extension (not everything is yet supported).
Although the extension does make chat related applications a lot easier to access, it still has a lot of work to do in order to support all applications and services like Geary and Gmail. Also, it would be great if the extension offered the ability to easily configure the settings through the Gnome Tweak tool. As this is the first release of the extension, users should be patient and provide feedback.

To install this extension, simply turn the switch to “ON”
