Gnome Shell 3.6 Release

Gnome Foundation is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Gnome Shell 3.6!

Gnome Shell 3.6 has a re-designed interface with a new App Launcher and Notification Panel, better Accessibility Support, a new Lock Screen and it is now requiring GDM as a running dependency.

    Can’t wait till gnome 3.6 hits the arch repos, some nice improvements.

        I think we have to wait for 3.6.1.

          Everyone should wait for 3.6.1 (bugs?). But most distros will ship 3.6.1 anyway, so is okay I guess.

        For a major DE release it takes a week or so. Its gotta hit the [testing] repo to make sure there’s no major bugs, and then it hits extra.

    I think I saw a official video about new app launcher and it has a show all apps animation when you click it.
    but today I saw another video and it hasn’t that animation o.O
