Does Empathy support meta-contacts yet? or should i put my hopes on 3.8?

    • alex285

      What meta-contacts is?

      • Wolframium

For example, I have a contact on MSN called John Smith and I want to add his facebook im account.
With meta contacts both would appear inside a meta contact called John Smith, without it, the program will display 2 contacts called John Smith.

        • alex285

Oh I see. I am afraid I cannot answer this, because I run Ubuntu Gnome and Ubuntu Online Accounts don’t work nicely with GOA at the moment. It is supposed to work, at least if you set up the accounts inside Gnome Contacts. But in general this Quarteto (GOA-UOA-Contacts-Empathy) isn’t working quite well :)
