Enrich your User Menu!

This post was made with another stylesheet and it might be messed up!

The user menu is a quick and easy way to access various things like special options, applications, or even actions.

Two new Gnome Shell extensions were released yesterday offering two new little possibilities for the Gnome users! The first one is about adding a terminal on the user menu and the second is about adding Empathy’s contact list.

Terminal in user menu

Terminal Extension

This extension will allow you to add a terminal shortcut on your user menu. You can activate it by simply turning the switch to “ON”.

Empathy Contact List Extension

This extension will offer quick access to Empathy’s contact list straight from the user menu. You can activate it by simply turning the switch to “ON”.

I think the devs of this extensions has no idea how the Gnome workflow works… (And yes, there are a default workflow like _all_ UIs has one)
I mean the terminal makes no sense there. You can use the search (which is really more quick).
Good think that in 3.6 the online acc entry isn’t anymore…
