Dorian GTK 3.12 Theme | Dark On Blue

I do believe that GTK looks like a nice toolkit and I do believe that there is plenty of space for better themes, but theme authors haven’t reached the maximum of their creativity, while the default Adwaita is alright but kinda neutral; nothing special.

I think I’ve installed most (if not all!) themes available around and I have a pretty impressive database with GNOME Themes. I do like some, I do dislike others and some are seem nice at first, but they’re just starting to bother you after a while.

Normally I present themes I personal like, but that is kinda selfish. So lets do some of the themes that I don’t fancy but others may do!

A dark GTK theme from J. Brown –killhellokitty-Williams.[/caption]

Dorian is quite dark for my taste and my eyes, and it has been build on the top of Adwaita. It has impressive details and obviously Brown (the author) has worked a lot on it, but Dorian seems to lack the “correct” dark color balance.

Notice that Dorian is currently on Beta (v.05182014), and the window manager won’t work in Ubuntu installations.
